For College Graduates
Operations Management Trainee - Participates in a comprehensive, 10-week training program that includes work in various manufacturing areas including extrusion, yarn manufacturing, carpet manufacturing, etc. Participants also learn about customer service, inventory control, freight sales, product development and shipping/receiving function. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Chemical Engineering, any Textile degree, Transportation, Logistics, or other related degrees preferred. Financial Services Trainee - Participates in on-the-job training as well as classroom training in learning to manage the Company’s domestic and international business accounts for residential, commercial, and contract areas: Finance or Economics concentrations or degrees preferred.
Human Resources Trainee - Participates in a rigorous training program that includes time in various functional HR departments; works with a Divisional HR Director on various projects: Human Resources Management or similar degree preferred.
Sales Trainee - Participates in a rigorous sales training program to acquire manufacturing and product knowledge, along with sales and marketing techniques. Shaw’s residential training program is 14 – 16 weeks and the contract training program is 10 weeks. Trainees must be willing to relocate after training period. Degrees preferred are General Business, Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Interior Design, Entrepreneurship and Sales. Sales Trainee Program
